Is it good for all cats?
It is a 3-in-1 tool — spray brush, grooming comb and detangling comb — so it works on short, medium and long coats, and on dogs too. What it cannot change is temperament: a cat who hates being handled will still need a few short, calm sessions to come around. Start with 30 seconds and stop before they ask you to.
How often should I brush my cat?
Two or three times a week is plenty for a short coat. Long coats and shedding season do better with a short daily session. Five minutes at a time beats one long session your cat resents.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
The bristles are soft and rounded, so instead of scratching they massage the skin while they groom, which helps circulation and lifts dirt out of the coat. The body is plastic, free from chemicals of high concern. Use light pressure and let the brush glide. If the skin is already irritated, broken or scabbed, check with your vet before grooming that area.
Is the mist hot?
No. One press of the button releases a fine mist that lightly dampens the coat, which is what makes tangles come apart and stops loose fur from flying around the room. It comes out as a soft spray, not a jet, and most cats barely notice it.
How do I clean the brush?
Press the fur-release button and the trapped hair lifts off in one piece, then rinse the head under running water. Empty the tank if you are not going to use it for a few days. The body is splash-resistant, but do not submerge the handle — that is where the electronics are.
What if my cat doesn’t enjoy it?
Try it with the mist switched off first, 30 seconds a day, followed by a treat. Most cats come around within a week or two. If yours simply will not have it, email us within 30 days and we refund you.
What is it made of, and what comes in the box?
A durable plastic body with soft bristles, in white, made in mainland China to international standards. The plastic is free from chemicals of high concern. Each order is a single brush, so if you want one for home and one for the bag, choose the 2-pack.
How do I recharge it?
With the cable included in the box. Plug it into any USB adapter, power bank or laptop; the light shows while it is charging and changes when it is done. A full charge covers several grooming sessions, so most owners top it up every few weeks rather than every week.
